ASSISTANTS

 

Karen Antonelli

Lead Designer and Website Content Producer Karen Antonelli is an English artist transplanted to Pittsburgh. She holds an MFA from the Visual Arts program of Vermont College, and her work comprises drawing, photography, and digital media. Inspired by artists as diverse as Sally Mann, Thomas Joshua Cooper, Anselm Kiefer, and Cy Twombly, Karen’s work explores the connection between place and memory. Her recent work also draws influence from nineteenth-century collodion photographer Timothy Sullivan.


Savannah Adams

Savannah Adams is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock's English program. She is a graphic designer who has worked with Braddock Avenue Books since 2015. She has also worked for Heifer International and the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Foundation.


INTERNS

 

Madison Brown

Madison Brown is a Senior at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She is majoring in English with a minor in Linguistics. Madison is a member of the William G. Cooper, Jr. Honor's Program and is an Editorial Assistant with Braddock Avenue Books. She plans to pursue a job in the publishing field post-graduate school.


KateLin Carsrud

KateLin Carsrud is a junior at the University of Arkansas Little Rock. She is majoring in English with a minor in Secondary Education and a minor in Creative writing. KateLin is a member of the Chancellor’s Leadership Corps, the Swimming and Diving Team, the William G. Cooper, Jr. Honor’s program, and an intern at Braddock Avenue Books.


Austin Grundy

Austin Grundy is a senior at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  He is an English major with a minor in mathematics.  He is a member of the Chancellor’s Leadership Corps. Austin’s goal after graduation is to attend law school and eventually have his own practice. 


Angel Scroggins

Angel Scroggins is a senior at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock who is a majoring in both Criminal Justice and Legal Studies while minoring in Creative Writing. She plans to attend law school after graduation in the hopes of becoming a legal advocate for victims of sexual assault and human trafficking. She loves to read and has a passion for writing both fiction and poetry.


Grayson Treat

Grayson Treat is a junior at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where he is majoring in English with a creative writing emphasis. He is also a member of the Williams G. Cooper, Jr. Honors Program in English. After graduation, he would like to pursue an MFA.


COMMUNITY RELATIONS INTERN

 

Jess Turner

Jess Turner holds a BFA in creative writing from Chatham University. Her genre of focus is poetry. Her work is often informed by the natural world, drawing from the life, tone, and writing of Sappho. She currently works at a bakery and screens for Autumn House Press and Pittsburgh Poetry Review. Jess plans to begin her MFA in poetry in the fall of 2018.
